Barack Obama's Family

Barack Hussein Obama II, the current U.S. president, is also the first African-American President of the United States. He was the fifth as the President Sworn in November 2008, and since then worked toward the improvement of America, in all areas. Although the work will take up most of his time as a family-oriented one of the many highlights of his personality. He is known for his family, both immediate and long to give, it is of utmost importance. That all his family members are from different backgrounds, has set up his autobiography, "Dreams from My Father," and his political career. His family has representatives from African-American, Kenyan, Indonesian and English Heritage. 

Parents 
Barack Obama Barack Hussein Obama Sr. and Ann Dunham 4 August was born in 1961 in Honolulu, Hawaii. His father belonged to Kenya, his mother was a Kansas. They divorced when she was two years old, and when he was six years old, his mother married an Indonesian oil manager named Lolo Soetoro. 

Immediate Family
 Obama's family history is known as the "First Family" in the United States. It is his wife Michelle Obama and daughters Malia and Natasha Obama. Obama is a tight-knit family. 

Michelle Obama
 Michelle Robinson Obama, First Lady of the United States, is a lawyer by profession. He met with Barack Obama in June 1989, the Chicago law firm. They got engaged in 1991 and had 3 Married in October 1992. He is currently one of the vice presidents of the University of Chicago Hospital. 

Malia and Natasha Obama 
Malia was born in 1998 and Natasha, also known as Sasha was born in 2001. Natasha is the youngest of life in the White House. Both participate in the Sidwell Friends School, a private school in Washington DC. 

Extended family 
Barack Obama has a lot of father's and mother's relatives are different heritage. A few of them live in the United States, while the other in Kenya, Indonesia and other places are scattered. 

Grandparents 
His paternal grandparents Habiba Akumu Hussein Onyango Obama and Obama (1895-1979) was. His grandfather was a cook and had converted to Islam. They were part of the rural community Nyangoma Kogalo in western Kenya. 
Her maternal grandparents were Madelyn Lee Payne Dunham (1922-2008) and Stanley Armour Dunham (1918-1992). Her maternal grandmother was a bank vice president in Hawaii, where his grandfather was a furniture salesman and U.S. Army sergeant during World War II. 

Parents in-law 
His father-in-law, Fraser Robinson, was a clerk collection. His mother-in-law, Marian Robinson was constant to support him, especially in the polls. He lives in the Obama White House. 

Other relatives 
Other relatives of Mr. Obama are Charles Thomas Payne (great maternal uncle), Malik Obama (half-brother), Maya Soetoro-Ng (half-sister), Konrad Ng (brother-in-law, Maya ng husband), Kezia Obama (stepmother) Auma Obama (half-sister), David Ndesandjo (half-0brother), Zeituni Onyango (half-aunt) and Craig Robinson (Michelle Obama's brother).
